During wet and humid conditions hooves can become compromised which can influence the quality and strength of the hoof capsule.

When soles become soft, they are less able to support the rest of the hoof and imbalances may occur. Some individuals and breeds such as thoroughbreds are naturally predisposed to thin soles. For some, shoe loss, hoof wall issues and moving to barefoot can require the regular application of a hoof hardener.

Applying a hoof hardener, which does not have a negative effect on live tissue, is preferable.        

PROFEET Rock Hard works to target overall hoof resilience and integrity so their hooves can provide stable foundations.  Providing fast penetrative properties to help strengthen soft soles and prevent weak, brittle and cracked hooves from tracking up the hoof wall.

Apply NAF Five Star PROFEET Rock Hard Hoof Harder to the frog and sole using the brush provided for best results. Paint around the lower half of the hoof, allowing the fluid to seep into nail holes and splits.

Apply daily for 7-10 days and during periods of wet conditions. After that, apply once weekly.
